During Covid, my son Sam and I started going out on Saturday mornings to play tennis. We’re not athletes, but we’re both creative. He’s a musical genius. Put any instrument in his hands, and he’ll figure it out in minutes. I’m not joking.
Those Saturday tennis sessions and breakfasts led us to collaborate on a series of short horror films. I’d done something similar years before with Adam and Eve, and since then, I’ve gone back to the well a few times with the world’s shortest noir films, rom coms, and more recently spy films.
Now Sam’s on camera with one of his closest friends, actor Howston Evans, in a sci-fi series, Men in Black Who Ruin Your Favorite Sci-Fi Movies. For you Norm McDonald fans, yes, the name was definitely inspired by that one scene in that one movie. But there’s nothing family-unfriendly here. Just two Men in Black disposing of pesky aliens, and in the process ruining all your favorite movies.
I mean once you get rid of ET, there’s not much movie left. Right?
